For CDM Federal
In New Jersey, we drilled three cased borings to 200'. We also drilled over 100 test borings and 4" Monitor Wells. We provided two track mounted rigs and a truck rig to complete the job ahead of schedule.
For Clean Harbors, Inc.
Drilled numerous 6" double case wells, 4" wells and 2" piezometers for an industrial site in Bridgeport, CT. We provided 2 rigs for approximately 2 months.
For MASS Highway
We were awarded a contract for Test Borings in Central Massachusetts, District. The jobs consist of State and Federal Bridge replacements. Many of the jobs require specialized equipment such as Skid and Tracked Rigs. This contract is all in Metrics and was the second one awarded to us by Mass Highway with that requirement.
For Clough Harbour & Associates
We drilled Borings for the Bennington By-Pass in southern Vermont. Three rigs were provided for borings along existing roads and through woodland. Services on the job included providing a fully supplied support trailer with phones and office equipment. Over 1,700' of Borings were drilled and completed in 2-1/2 months.
For Metcalf and Eddy
Two drills worked at a Nuclear plant in CT. Trained rad crews worked for over a month drilling test borings and specialized sampling. Our remote control BK51 rig was used to get around the plant and into more difficult spots not accessible to conventional rigs.
For Foster Wheeler Environmental Corp.
At the Raymark Superfund Site in Stratford, Connecticut, we provided Union Crews with employees and members of IUOE Local 478, Pollution Liability Insurance and Bonding. Services included the abandonment of hundreds of well from 15' to 100' deep. We supplied four rigs for the installation of wick drains and well installation. The site required working in Level C and took over four months to complete.
For Northeast Utilities
At a Nuclear plant we provided drillers with RAD Training. Crews were working in the RCA as well as outside. Our drillers were part of the team involved in drilling safety. Much of the work required a truck rig, but for the inside work a skid rig was provided. Borings and deep rock wells were installed at this site.
For US Army Corps of Engineers
At a site in East Providence, RI we drilled four holes to 90' taking continuous split spoon samples and undisturbed samples near the Providence River. We also excavated 5 test pits at this site. All of the test borings were tremie grouted.
For McPhail Associates
We drilled for the New World Trade Center in Boston, MAssachusetts. 140 holes were completed from 40' to 150', all with continuous sampling. Two rigs were working on this project with employees who are members of Union Local 88. Other services included Vane Shear Tests and Observation Wells.
